St. Luke’s
Mission
All individuals are embraced as beloved children of God. Reconciled in Christ. People of every ethnicity, culture, and skin color, as well as individuals of all sexual orientations and gender identities can find community here. All ages, backgrounds, and abilities are treasured members of our community. Consequently, we are here for anyone whom society attempts to separate, divide, or isolate. It is our sacred duty as Christians following the word of the Lord.
St. Luke’s San Lucas celebrates each person’s unique identity as a divine gift. Our goal is to continue to build a diverse community of believers united in faith.

.
Remembering and honoring the Indigenous people of North and South America, in particular the nations whose land we now occupy is very important to us. As a result, we strive to always remember the earth does not belong to us. Our time here on earth is short and as a result it’s important to remember we are all relatives in life. It is our duty to learn from our past mistakes. It’s vital we be instruments of justice and peace for all people. The people at St. Luke’s acknowledge we are on unceded ancestral lands of the Chinook and Cowlitz people. Descendants of theirs still reside here. They continue to bring honor and light to their ancient heritage. We are grateful.
