Concert: Willy Silva’s Band, Los 3 del Sur

The members of the band come from all over Latin America, but according to Willy, the Beauty is that they are all from different countries but they know the music because it comes from their shared cultural roots–a mix of Native Americans that live in ” LOS ANDES,” the area of big mountains and desert that covers most of South America. Josefina Cañazares is from Argentina, where they have Zambas, Chacareras, Malambos, and a variety of musical rhythms. Antonio Centurión is the Guarani Indigenous Land in Paraguay… he plays a beautiful sound on the harpa and has a lot to share from his country and culture. And Willy Silva is from Chile, playing all the Chilean music and rhythms with his guitar.
